Recap of July

July was a month filled with fun and laughter thanks to the holiday, creative summer workshops, and welcoming back a special person.

We first started with celebrating Fourth of July by having the children recite the Pledge of Allegiance out by our great, billowing flag. All of the children looked so festive with their patriotic attire and watching them wave their little flags.

Then, we kicked off summer with our lively workshops. Ms. Nancy conducted a nature walk with a scavenger hunt, Ms. Nezha taught and played outdoor sport games (soccer, golf, bowling), Ms. Larissa hosted cooking classes, Ms. Dilusha guided and instructed workout and dance activities, and Ms. Tatiana directed the children on how to recreate famous artworks. The children did so well with all of these activities and many friendships were formed and strengthened! We are looking forward to the upcoming August workshops!!

Last, but certainly not least, a hard working and passionate person finally returned to us: Mr. Alex! Mr. Alex was away in China and has come back to his loving Gaowa family. We all missed him when he was gone and we are thankful and appreciative for his return. If you haven't had the chance to introduce yourself or say hi to him, please stop by the office!

Summer Workshops

Primary Workshops

July's summer workshops were such a hit that we are excited to continue the festivities for the month of August. This time around, we will be having different activities, hosted by a few different teachers. Please refer to the flyer to see what we have planned!

Toddler Workshops

Mini workshops for the toddlers have officially begun! Each classroom will be divided up amongst themselves. Both lead and assistant teachers will be hosting their own activities with their current students (no switches between classrooms will be made). We are certain the toddlers will have a blast exploring all of the different festivities we have planned!
