Sensorial

Sensorial

Maria Montessori believed that nothing exists in the intellect that was not first experienced in the senses. The materials in the sensorial area are designed to help children sharpen their five senses by isolating particular qualities such as size, shape, composition, color, flavor, smell, pitch, texture and weight. Each of the materials in this area is autodidactic and allows the child to work at their own pace with minimal interruption from the teacher. The Sensorial materials play a major role in helping children to develop logic and concentration

"Came here today for a tour of the school for my toddler and I was so impressed. I'm a picky parent and this place surpassed my expectations. The director that assisted us was so nice, she answered all our questions, and made us feel very comfortable. I look forward to the opening because I found my boy a new school. This place is definitely a divine intervention for us!"
